Open Practice at Wildcat Creek MX

Wildcat Creek MX is throwing open its gates for Open Practice on September 19–20, 2026, giving riders of all skill levels and age groups the perfect opportunity to sharpen their skills, dial in their bikes, and enjoy two full days of high-octane riding action. Whether you’re a seasoned competitor looking to stay sharp or a young rider just finding your footing on two wheels, this is the weekend you don’t want to miss.
Gates open at 9:00 AM each day, with practice kicking off at 10:00 AM and running all the way through 4:00 PM — giving you a full six hours of seat time to make the most of. Best of all, both tracks will be in full operation throughout the weekend. The main track will cater to Big Bike A&B, Big Bike C, Vet (25+), and 85/65 classes, offering plenty of competitive, challenging terrain for more experienced riders. Meanwhile, the small track will be dedicated to 85/65 Beginner, 50’s, and 50 Beginner classes, making it a fantastic and safe environment for younger or newer riders to build their confidence and have a blast doing it.
One of the best things about an open practice format is the freedom it provides. There’s no race-day pressure — just you, your machine, and the track. Use the time to work on specific sections, try new lines, get comfortable on unfamiliar terrain, or simply enjoy the pure thrill of riding.
