From Racquetball Court to Racetrack

Before it was a racetrack, this building was a racquetball court. The visionary behind the transformation was Roger Wethington, who conceived and oversaw the creation of the track that still ignites drivers’ passion today. His goal was simple: craft a track with the perfect grip, built for drivers of every skill level.

In 2001, those doors flung open to the world for the first time. What emerged was a remarkable indoor bi-level track spanning 900 feet, designed specifically to push drivers past their limits. The sleek original design set Fastimes apart from every other karting facility in the country, and that same layout has endured for more than two decades.

Two Decades of Racing Heritage

Fastimes has welcomed racers from every corner of the globe since day one, building a reputation as the place to race in the “Racing Capitol of the World.” The bi-level layout remains the facility’s signature feature — a two-story track that tests drivers with elevation changes most indoor karting venues simply don’t have.

Karts here run unrestricted, hitting speeds over 40 miles per hour on the same 20-plus-year-old track that helped define what indoor karting could be in America.
