Speedway Indoor Karting sits on Main Street in Speedway, Indiana, just minutes from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and it carries the racing pedigree to match its location.

Founded by an IndyCar Legend

SIK opened its doors on April 1, 2016, built and owned by retired IndyCar Series driver and former team owner Sarah Fisher. That connection to real professional racing runs through everything about the facility, right down to how it’s designed to feel like a proving ground rather than a simple arcade.

The 60,000-square-foot building was constructed to be a world-class, gas-powered indoor racing facility, and it stands as one of the most talked-about entertainment stops in a town whose entire identity is built around motorsports.

Two Tracks, Two Kinds of Racing

SIK features two distinct tracks under one roof. The first is a European-style, two-story, 14-turn road course that winds racers through elevation changes and tight technical sections. The second is a 14-degree banked slick oval, built for high-speed laps that echo the oval racing happening just down the road at IMS.

Both junior and adult karts can run on either course, though they race at separate times. The facility also offers Big Foot karts, hand-controlled karts, and staff-driven two-seaters, making the track accessible to nearly every age and ability level.

Where Careers Start

For SIK’s team, the facility isn’t just entertainment — it’s a pipeline. General manager Marissa O’Gara has pointed out that for a lot of people, racing starts right here in karting, and SIK has become a first taste of the sport for future competitors who go on to race at outdoor tracks south of Indy as they get more serious about the sport.

Beyond the karts, SIK has expanded into mini bowling and a golf and multi-sport simulator, rounding the facility out as a full entertainment stop for families, groups, and corporate events in the heart of Speedway.
