Each Labor Day weekend, NHRA racers and fans descend on Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park for the World’s Biggest Drag Race™. They say that no career is truly complete without a win at drag racing’s grandest event, the NHRA U.S. Nationals. Dubbed “The Big Go!”, the NHRA U.S. Nationals is the last race of the 16-race regular season.
The stakes will be raised with an increased amount of points in play via the point-and-a-half system as teams battle to secure a coveted spot in the top-10 and Countdown to the Championship. Special events are taking place throughout the weekend and the drama is expected to be more amplified than ever!
As always, fans will have the opportunity to interact with their favorite drivers, as Every Ticket’s a Pit Pass® at the most powerful and sensory-filled motorsports attraction on the planet! Get direct access to the teams, see highly skilled mechanics service their hot rods firsthand between rounds, and get autographs from your favorite NHRA drivers.
The NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series will return to racing on Labor Day in 2025, including race day eliminations on Monday, September 1.
Fans will be treated to competition from a variety of racing divisions at the 71st Cornwell Quality Tools NHRA U.S. Nationals. The fan favorite Congruity NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series presented by LearnEV+ is a must-see class as well as the thrilling Flexjet NHRA Factory Stock Showdown.
Also, in competition over the course of the weekend will be hundreds of sportsman racers in the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series. Sportsman racers from across the country will flock to Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park to compete for bragging rights in one of the biggest sportsman competitions of the season.

Directions to the 71st Cornwell Quality Tools NHRA U.S. Nationals
The track is one mile west of Clermont on Highway 136. From Indianapolis, take Interstate 465 to Highway 136 (Crawfordsville Road). Go west toward and through Clermont. The main entrance is on the south side of the road, one mile past Clermont. From west on Interstate 74, Exit 68 (Ronald Reagan Parkway), then head south. At the light, turn left and travel east, and the track will be on the right.
